The American Society of Civil Engineers issues a report card every 4 years on the state of America's infrastructure. In the last two report cards, the nation got a D. Richard Schlesinger continues the series "CBS Reports: Where America Stands" with the state of America's infrastructure.
America's crumbling infrastructure
America is literally falling apart. From natural disasters, to massive power blackouts, to bridge collapses, US infrastructure has shown that it is not up to standards. American investment in infrastructure is not keeping up with the rest of the world and could prove to be an economy killer.
