]]> We Are The World 25 For Haiti - Official Video Recorded on February 1st, 2010, in the same studio as the original 25 years earlier (Henson Recording Studios, formerly A&M Recording Studios) "We Are The World 25 For Haiti", in which Quincy Jones and Lionel Richie serve as executive producers and producers, was created in collaboration with executive producers Wyclef Jean, Randy Phillips and Peter Tortorici; producers Humberto Gattica and RedOne; and co-producers Rickey Minor, Mervyn Warren and Patti Austin to benefit the Haitian earthquake relief efforts and the rebuilding of Haiti. Academy Award-winning writer-director Paul Haggis (Crash, Million Dollar Baby), whose own personal efforts as well as those of Artists for Peace and Justice have already saved countless lives in Haiti, filmed the private recording session to create the accompanying video and behind-the-scenes production, and serves as Film Director and as an Executive Producer with Jones, Richie, Jean, Phillips and Tortorici. The 25th Anniversary recording features over 80 artists and performers. The recording of We Are The World 25 For Haiti embodied the same enthusiasm, sense of purpose and generosity as the original recording 25 years ago. Every one of the artists who participated, regardless of genre or generation, walked into the room with their hearts and souls completely open to coming together to help the people of Haiti.

]]> RoboCop 2013 Trailer (official) remake reboot www.nma.tv RoboCop fans are drooling over the franchise's upcoming 2013 reboot, even though there isn't even a trailer out yet. Set in a dystopian future, the original 1987 film told the tale of Alex Murphy, a slain Detroit cop who is brought back to life when the evil OCP corporation turns him into a crime-fighting cyborg. There is no word on how different the Jose Padiha-directed remake will be, but there is already news of some big changes from the leading man himself. Joel Kinnaman has revealed that audiences will get to see his eyes through the visor of his RoboCop helmet, which used to be opaque, and says the film will draw more on modern day science. The stakes are certainly high, as RoboCop is one of the most highly-regarded figures in modern sci-fi. Fans have raised $50000 to erect a statue in his honor in the Motor City, as well as another couple thousand for a musical comedy tribute. A previous attempt at a RoboCop remake fell through in 2010. Darren Aronofky co-wrote the script and would have also directed.


]]> '21 Jump Street' TV remake is surprisingly hilarious Peter Travers assumed that 21 Jump Street would be an egregious piece of crap based on its trailer, but as it turns out, this update of the old Eighties TV show starring Jonah Hill and Channing Tatum turns out to be silly and fun. Tatum, who is typically pretty dull on screen is hilarious in this, and Johnny Depp is sharp in a cameo in which he reprises the character that made him a star. First of all, this is NOT the official Capcom remake. This is actually a video made to show just how awesome RE4 can be on the PC thanks to the great modding community and the modders themselves. So to all the people disappointed that this is not Capcom's remake, I apologize, but at least you can get the PC version of RE4 and play it, as it looks in this video after downloading the mods below.
