The first was when I brought the car home from storage and for many reasons never got farther on it. Then my friend and mentor Mike Fennel offered me a spot in his shop and I jumped at the opportunity. With the help of my good friend Jamey Smith, who has built and restored dozens of cars (including several 69 Dodge Charger General Lees), we loaded the Maverick on a trailer and cleared a spot for it at Mikes. I took this chance to have the two of them look over the car as it sits to see if there is anything they would change before we move forward. Turns out, the car is in pretty good shape! Now it's time to chase down some very important parts and see if we can get the thing started. My budget has been completely demolished over the last few years with other projects and just surviving so I'm going to have to be very creative on funding. This video series will try to keep fans of the build up do date with the status and try to stir up interest for any sponsors that might want to help.
