May 17, 2012 - raw_input has been changed to input in the new Python.

sadeq786 Says:

May 17, 2012 - In the new Python, we can't use concatenation or + in between individual strings while using the print function. This is especially true when printing an actual user quote along with a string variable. The concatenation works for Instead, we have use commas or , for getting the correct output.

sadeq786 Says:

May 17, 2012 - use , instead of + . That did the magic for me. Go to the python website and checkout the 'Whats New with 3.0' page. Scroll down to the print function. That will give u some insight.

lherby93 Says:

May 15, 2012 - On the 3rd line where the codes are written, i meant: y=raw_input"How do you do?" I guess you use it for a second question that will be asked to the user.

lherby93 Says:

May 15, 2012 - When writing programs, can you actually use two different variables? Like in the part you were showing us how to write a simple program. How about for an answer and a question at the same time? Would it be like this: x=raw_input("Enter name:") print "Hey"+x x=raw_input"How do you do?" Now, when it comes to this part here, what can you do to let the program know that the user is about to answer, and if a question is asked to him, what type of answer can it give?

DynastyPercussion Says:

Apr 29, 2012 - I think you skipped over which modules to download because when I save .py program files I can't execute them in the cmd terminal. When tying to execute, "the program", it asks how I what the file to be opened such as notepad, microsoft word, etc but there's no option to open in the terminal.
