May 25, 2012 - They destroy your ship, scramble your pod and keep you like that for a while making sure you pay isk to end it quickly ^^

Ancyker Says:

May 24, 2012 - The battles that big happen fairly often, however, that particular scenario is rare. The dominion trailer is fairly realistic. As is the newest, Inferno, trailer.

May 24, 2012 - wtf is that fit afterburner, 280mm arties, armor rep, no point or tackle

Banecroft Says:

May 24, 2012 - That is how it is. Kill everything you see before what you see kills you!

WandererOfWorlds90 Says:

May 23, 2012 - Experiences vary a lot. But if you want to buy a PC to play Eve, go for it. It has pretty modest system requirements even with the new engine. A medium spec PC will run it without problems. Internet connection is more important since lag is a big problem in larger battles.

May 22, 2012 - Shouldn't they call you a noob in local before they pod you?

May 21, 2012 - A little after killing the pirates, a friendly gang shows up. They proceed to kill your ship, pod you and call you a noob in local.

May 16, 2012 - Well, I have a ps3 and a xbox, I have been hooked on eve for almost 2 months now. This game is worth it once you get over the learning curve.

May 12, 2012 - What if miner gets alhpa'ed?

FalconOfStorms Says:

May 10, 2012 - This may be the best comment I have ever seen, ever. Even better if you actually read the first two books. You've obviously read Dune. Right on about the learning curve. I loved that -- a vast, complex game not made for idiots.

FalconOfStorms Says:

May 10, 2012 - I know just what you mean. Too many Johnny Headshots in this age of twitch shooters and balls-to-the-wall blockbusters are too ADHD-addled to get it. Space is really big and empty -- EVE takes that fact and makes it feel peaceful and inspiring, rather than dull. The idea of reading a book at all is enough to turn off such people, let alone the idea of playing a game that sometimes moves at a pace that would allow you to read a book while playing it.

Mikeybetts Says:

May 8, 2012 - probably because while the battles are awesome, its more of a "chill out game" heck, more than once on a friend's computer (he was out of town, but he let me use his computer to play Eve in return for taking care of his pets) anyway, i spent most of the game with me feet kicked up on a seat, reading a good book to some techno music, and when i heard/saw that i had contact, i was glued to the screen. Eve is only boring if your "at it" 24/7, the fact it takes ages is part of the charm, so relax!

Ulti2k Says:

May 7, 2012 - not really, i just dont have the time you need to play eve proper, and the luck running into such a case ^^

TheDroopykiller Says:

May 6, 2012 - damn you suck apparantly

lucasboydjr Says:

May 2, 2012 - This game has a VERY deep learning curve! I have just begun to play and although it is very epic in scope, I will continue to play and pay, because I know this will be a satisfying experience with no end. A literary comparison of this game is as follows: it's as if Tolstoy's "War and Peace" had a baby with Ayn Rand's "Atlas Shrugged", with "Dune" Author Frank Herbert as a "lovable" care taker.
