The Gerber Clutch multi-tool (MT) proves that mini tools dont have to be expensive to be useful. It possesses most of the utility had by larger tools, albeit with reduced leverage. In the Clutch you can find needle nosed pliers, wire cutters, a well-shaped blade, two-dimensional drivers, tweezers, and a nail maintenance tool. Another bonus over some competitors, like the Leatherman Squirt P4, is a conventionally ground and larger blade that could fill many of your EDC roles. Possible downsides would include: a bit larger size and more weight than the P4 MT (the mini MT class leader I think) and the smallest flathead screw bit needed some grinding for additional precision. But at a mere $12 (more or less) the Gerber Clutch multi-tool offers a ton of utility in a compact package at a bargain price. ////////////////////Nutnfancy Likeability Scale: 7 out of 10 Less

Oct 8, 2011 - Once on my way home. I was riding my bike and snap! One of the straps on my back pack had jamed between the chain and the gear wheel. And i live a LONG way from school. thats why i use my bike. Anyway i was lucky to have my multi tool. I cut of the strap and feeded it out from the gear & chain. If i had not have it, i was going to lift my bike all the way home. Sorry for my bad english. :D

Sep 11, 2011 - Hiya CN. Nutn says that he likes them ok, but that he likes the Leatherman better...like the Blast, and its about the same price. He says that he doesn't like the short saw, wharncliffe chisel ground blade, however the price IS good at $25. Great to hear from you and hope that helps. -- Veri
