Oct 9, 2011 - Surely! shortcuts helps a lot.

Jan 13, 2011 - Yeah, that is because I am using an american keyboard.. or actually have my international keyboard set to american settings in windows. The key's don't match up with what's printed, but it's what i'm used to. I also have the [ ] as actual keys.. I don't have to press shift or ctrl to get them. You need to either change your keyboard layout to american style in windows (or mac) or change your keyboard shortcuts in photoshop. Do this with Ctrl+alt+shit+K or Edit>Keyboard shortcuts

Jul 6, 2010 - yeah, I use ctrl+J a lot as well. I haven't gotten into using the mouse to control brush size (and hardness) but it seems some people really like it. Thanks for your thoughts.

Jul 5, 2010 - nice, but for changing brush size and softness you can use the movements with mouse now in CS5 and I would add ctrl+j for copy layer :) but thanks anyway
