Mar 28, 2012 - Now i am getting confused. I see that you have an object named g that has 3 other objects in it. How do you know which object is which since they dont have a name? I get that if you set a color then make a rectangle right after, that the rectangle gets the color, but thats where you lose me. AS3 would force to give the object a type and name and thats the only frame of reference i have when it comes to OOP.

Feb 25, 2012 - actually the NDK in android isn't c++. It's c. There is quite a large difference. And android game devs use OpenGL in Java. iPhone games use objective c. C++ really is not the goto for games. And to further augment my point, most android games use opengl 1.0 or 1.5 when they can get away with it. Original android phones don't support OpenGL 2.0 and they want their app deployed on as many handsets as possible. Is C++ used for games? yes. Is it the best option? sometimes.
