Mar 26, 2012 - Well, a knit stitch will look like a purl from the back. So if that is what you are seeing, this is normal.

Mar 25, 2012 - When I knit in general I use the right needle and go to the back and then wrap the string clockwise and it domes out kind of like a purl stitch?

ravioneu Says:

Mar 9, 2012 - hmmm...I seem to be having the same problem as helloseahorseandme. At the end of each row, I end up with a double stitch every time. I have tried this so many times, that I know it not just a matter of accidently not sliding a previous row off. I must be missing something else. It's getting very frustrating.

Mar 8, 2012 - thank u so much

cyberseams Says:

Mar 8, 2012 - It sounds like you're looping your yarn in the front instead of the back. Double check how you're wrapping the yarn around the needle when you create a new stitch. Good luck!

cyberseams Says:

Mar 8, 2012 - Yes, that means knit 1, yarn over, slip-slip-knit 1. ssk means slip stitch to your working need, then slip the next, then slip your left needle into the front of both loops and knit them together. ssk is a decrease stitch. Good luck!

cyberseams Says:

Mar 8, 2012 - Sorry for the delay but I do have a How To Knit Left Handed video. Having trouble including the link in my reply but if you search my channel, it is there plus other left handed knitting videos. Good luck!

cyberseams Says:

Mar 8, 2012 - No it sounds like you're not sliding the previous row's loop off completely - that is usually the cause of loop duplication. Unless you specifically did an "increase" or "decrease", you should have the same amount of stitches on every row.

Feb 11, 2012 - This video makes it so effing easy. I didn't have any needles so I practiced on some DS styluses. It was alright until the 6th row, but by then, I had the idea. I'm hoping to get some needles soon so I can seriously start making stuff! Thank you!
