Jan 16, 2012 - yeah, i wasn't trying to say that it was directly inspired by drugs. and, as someone else said, the loops aren't the drugs -- they're the ego. so, this is representative purely of a technology (literally, like iPads, tumblers, netflixes) loop. i agree. nevertheless, technology loops are ego loops. i was implying with my statement 'n such that this was like a representation of an ego loop revealed by LSD. why quibble with it? we're talking about the same fucking thing.

Jan 16, 2012 - I'd watched this segment a couple of times and didn't understand it til I smoked out. It is creepy and I see what you're saying about trying to come down off a trip. There are parallels, but I think the segment speaks more strictly to technology and how so many people are wired in constantly (like myself) the irony is that Carrie tries to save him by replacing physical technology with "mind-fi" which defeats the purpose of aborting technology
