PCTools is on of the leading antivirus clients out there, has been for several years. Every store that sells software has PCTools on the shelf. NORTON aka Symantec (The Biggest anti-virus maker in the world) bought out the company. Next time you go to offer advice, please take a quick second to actually do research before you start to offer advice.

Nov 28, 2010 - I got security tool as well, almost gave it my information! it prevented me from using rkill, but I managed to upload malewarebytes by renaming it and then running a full scan. It could have gone a lot harder, though.

Nov 21, 2010 - Thanks for this video, I've read quite a few guides on how to remove this now, and none of them mentioned finding the file and changing its name - have to say thats the EASIEST method yet to disable it, and its so easy that anyone can do it, perfect! Once the program is disabled (not starting up disrupting all your programs) there's several methods of getting rid of it, biggest problem was disabling it like you showed how to do in an easy way. Thanks!

Nov 21, 2010 - THANKS for posting this! Note in our XP system it was here: username/local settings/application data. Two files  893452363.exe and 895323.exe. Also it was not listed in MSCONFIG startup, but I did find it in regedit and deleted four keys with those file names.
