Jun 9, 2011 - No idea, I honestly do not mind if it's spelt wrongly, it's TheCureGalore94 who is the grammar-nazi, not me. He is under a strange delusion that he is a prescriptivist, when he isn't. However, thankyou for your observation.
Thecuregalore94 Says:
Mar 27, 2011 - Bar Mitzvah requires capital letters. Oh, and if I haven't mentioned it beforehand, Aaron, it's spelt Forward*.
FowardUntoDawn13 Says:
Mar 27, 2011 - Fine, you can pretend to be a prescriptivist and continue teaching the internet how to spell. Meanwhile I have a Unicorn bar mitzvah and a leprechaun baptism to attend to.
Thecuregalore94 Says:
Mar 27, 2011 - Not really mate. I suggest you search the definition of 'linguistic prescriptivist' on this thing we call the internet.
FowardUntoDawn13 Says:
Mar 27, 2011 - No you can't, you need to speak Recieved Pronunciation as well as all of those other things.
Thecuregalore94 Says:
Mar 27, 2011 - Aaron...The definition of a prescriptivist is someone who believes in correct grammar, spelling, pronounciation and syntax. You could be a working class bricklayer from Leytonstone and still be a prescriptivist.

Oct 6, 2010 - Content is king...but search is queen. I'm GenX. When Twitter first came around, all I saw was a bunch of junk postings, so I dismissed it...prefering books, the web, and YouTube because I knew how to find good content in those places. But when I learned how to find good content on Twitter, I started using it. GenY generally know how to find good content online, but have a harder time finding good content in books. Thus, they dismiss books.

Sep 2, 2010 - Texting is pure unalloyed evil wrapped in a poisonous meme of destructive stupidity.

Aug 4, 2010 - Loved the video. Here was a brilliant, erudite and persuasive man debunking the myths about texting corrupting our language. His grasp of the change from a book culture to an internet one is excellent and he suggests that we need to realise that we are in an age of transition with text and Twitter only being in its comparative infancy. I would though have liked to have seen the audience's comments and questions at the end of his talk.
