Apr 13, 2012 - The belly tank has to be custom made... and that's my problem haha. I guess I'll be making a plug, either way nothing but knowledge can come from it, thanks for the help man.

GasserGlass Says:

Apr 13, 2012 - You can use chicken wire to build your INNER shape and stretch Fleece over that and or use Plaster or Body Filler or best yet...FOAM...... But foam isnt cheap..... You can use trash inside to build your Bulk and fleece on the outside..hand shape it from there with plaster...Then paint it...Theres your plug....NOT EASY TO DO..... or you just buy a belly tank already made in fiberglass and save LOTS OF MONEY THAT WAY!

torivio369 Says:

Apr 13, 2012 - Ok so what would be the best material to make the plug? It has to fairly cheap or at least not crazy expensive haha

torivio369 Says:

Apr 13, 2012 - Could I have your email by any chance? this project that I'm starting is very, very, very important in order for me to graduate.

GasserGlass Says:

Apr 13, 2012 - YUP....... I know a few people who have the Belly Tank molds...... OR, you can make your Own Belly Tank PLUG and I can make A mold of it for you.... Once you own the mold, You can Make as many Belly Tanks as you want!

torivio369 Says:

Apr 13, 2012 - I'm looking for a belly tank (p38 or p51), but I realized that the old original ones cost way to much and the fiberglass molds still cost, somewhat a lot. Could it be possible to make a mold for one?

Apr 9, 2012 - Great videos! Having "issues" with my internet lately. Do you have an email address I could use to ask you some questions? Or is there another way to get ahold of you? I have some big projects on the horizon and they have to be 100% right! Thanks!

GasserGlass Says:

Mar 28, 2012 - WOW....Sorry but now im more confused.... heh heh....so sorry....... as for mixing into a pastes to hold the nut....It will work if Fiberglass is mixed it strands.... When I insert a nut...I cut grooves into the nut for more hold...or even make the nut Oblong on the outside for more resin/fiberglass contact..... I Sure wish I could help you more...Id even make it for you.. heh heh.... send it!

Mar 27, 2012 - sorry my fault should have explained myself better.. both parts are fiberglass it is the front corner light surround from a truck,it has the outer skin and then i have the bolting mounts to go on the inside they are both shaped to fit. and there is only a small lip for this to sit in to only about 1 centimeter in depth, just need them to be strong and not fail and come apart , also if i mix my resin into a paste would you recomend this to hold a nut on place.. thanks a gain gasserglass

GasserGlass Says:

Mar 27, 2012 - First...What do the parts look like...Do they have a lip?... are the fiberglass?....... Id really like to reply with a positive answer for you but don't know what your trying to join or how they are shaped?..... hopefully you can fill me in on what these parts are????

MrEvorocket Says:
