May 26, 2012 - I read the Hobbit & LotR FotR, TTT & RotK at the age of 15 in less than 12 days! The book and films just give me a lump in my throat they're funny, they're emotional they're goddamn fricking amazing! And I for 1 cannot wait to go and see The Hobbit - shame my auntie (who along with my uncle introduced me to LotR) isn't around anymore to go see them... :'(

May 26, 2012 - I agree with you about the Hobbit being the best of 2012 but I'm stoked for Prometheus as well. Can't we all just get along and look forward to everything that comes out this year?
brihunt123 Says:
May 26, 2012 - Well yes, he is the son of the king of the Wood Elves, but I don't remember him being mentioned in the Hobbit. Also, I think Gloin was just bitter towards them, not directing the statement at Legolas specifically.

May 26, 2012 - ooooooh now I have another reason to dance for it! woo! so excited!

May 26, 2012 - This will be the hallmark of hallmarks in the fantasy movie genre. The first three made an everlasting impression on me I believe this movie will be even more engrossing.I used to joke with my friends about there being a new LOTR movie, and now this I CAN'T WAIT...

May 26, 2012 - Learn to read, you ignorant fool.
drdaveoldguy Says:
May 26, 2012 - He's not mentioned by name in the book, but his presence in the story is spelled out in "Fellowship of the Ring" ... both generally (as the son of the king of the Mirkwood elves) and specifically (when Gloin complained to Legolas about how he and his people treated the dwarves). So yeah ... he is part of the story and will be in the films.
UltraTeamBattleSquad Says:

May 26, 2012 - Bit of advice, this trailer contains a song that has made fantasy fans cry. Prometheus has had the same emotional impact. So, don't say the G-Word here (geek, i mean)
HorrorRealm Says:
May 26, 2012 - literary classic reborn for the screen!

May 26, 2012 - Good trailer watch the new indie fantasy film "crystal of the gods 2nd trailer" on utube and support these filmmakers who made it
MrWasa1 Says:
May 26, 2012 - Hunger Games did not beat Star Wars, or LOTR noob
MrSirSlut Says:
May 26, 2012 - You obviously have not read or watched the entire series if you're saying it's for 12 year old girls. The HP books and movies 1-3 are for children but after movie and book 3, 12 year old girls would be confused.
MrSirSlut Says:
May 26, 2012 - That's what the Oscar people think, and the films weren't THAAAT great, but the films were still good. HP doesn't have good actors? Ralph Fiennes, Helena Bonham Carter, Gary Oldman, Maggie Smith, Alan Rickman, Daniel Radcliffe... they all did a great job in Harry Potter. The only person I can see that didn't do such a great job in acting is probably Emma Watson, her eyebrows do all the acting. I don't care about the money.
glennzone12 Says:
May 26, 2012 - I know, but at least frodo gets an appearance :)
MrSirSlut Says:
May 26, 2012 - Yes... and I don't like the Oscars that much. Inception deserved best picture two years ago, Hugo didn't deserve any Oscars at all, and Rise of the Planet of the Apes deserved the special effects award... but noooooooo, Hugo won that. Children movies do win Osars... but only the animated ones. Daniel Radcliffe, Emma Watson, and the rest of the HP cast are like more rich than any other actors. Harry Potter movies are good, they get good ratings and reviews.
MrSirSlut Says:
May 26, 2012 - The Harry Potter books are wayyyyyyy better than the movies, David Yates kind of screwed everything up.
