Description: This movie shows an alternative to modeling 3D objects. While many artists favor polygon modeling techniques by pushing/pulling of vertices and faces, spline modeling can be very powerful and sometimes quite a bit faster. Jul 19, 2011 - The author's answer is obviously correct. But I had the same problem and found it easier to click on the square of the move gizmo (not on a single axis), that way you can move the handles in both X and Y axis.

May 24, 2011 - @Graffight, It sounds like you're using the Transform Gizmo and your cursor, as you're trying to change the Bezier curves, seems to be right on top of a single axis (X or Y). It's difficult to use the Transform Gizmo when dealing with Bezier tangents. Try disabling it (X on the keyboard), and then choose your axis orientation by using hotkeys: F5 for X, F6 for Y, F7 for Z and F8 is a toggle for XY, YZ and XZ. Remember to swith back the Transform Gizmo (X) on the keyboard) when you're done.

May 23, 2011 - for some reason when I turn on bezier corner mode it doesn't allow me to have full control over each of the bezier's any idea why? one of them will only move up and down but nowhere else, or one of them will only have a limited range of motion. It's very frustrating, any ideas?
