May 14, 2012 - AKB48 are group from Akihabara in Tokyo SKE48 is from SAKAE in Aichi NMB48 is from Namba in Osaka HKT48 is from Hakata in Kyuushuu area so basically, they are sister groups and they are from different prefecture in Japan it's like for example, If you make an group from USA If it's New York, NYK48, Texas, TXS48, California, CFA48 etc something like that but when they make single, they pick two girls out of each group and dance and sing with AKB48 on tv shows
