Feb 17, 2012 - Also i forgot to mention i found an album by the band The Rogue Apostrophes called Hot Brown (google it) where Caglar Singletary (the guy in the karate suit) reads the introduction with his mom in the background lol

Feb 17, 2012 - Lol i loved this documentary. The extra scenes at the end are also very good and should be shown on here too as they are some of my fav parts. PS i have seen online now that the iowa mountain tour guys are putting their own comic book out with their song poem story or something (google kickstarter caravan gary forney) if anyone wants to complete the collection.

Oct 16, 2011 - I rented this so many times, then bought a copy... Used to see these albums in the used bins in LA in the 70's... shoulda bought em up! Wonderful film. The extras are worth the price of admission alone.

Oct 6, 2011 - I'd like to sincerely thank Penn Jilette and the Nerdist podcast for telling me about this documentary. As an independent, unsigned musician this film really spoke to me. The range of emotion here is just plain too amazing---this whole story goes back and forth from comedy to tragedy in the blink of an eye. I'm blown away to the point where I want every musician friend of mine to watch this.

Jul 2, 2011 - When I saw the scene at 39:03 I had a sharp moment of despair. It occurred to me for the first time that musicians are petulant assholes throughout their entire lives! The endless arguments where people pretend to get up and walk out are NEVER going to stop!
