Jul 11, 2011 - also i dont use mac.s i have a dell studio 17 i am not knocking dell as the studio in my opinion is a good laptop . i wonder if they will make the 17z in this. if so i might trade up. as i would prefer the 17 inch in this specs. as for mac pro 15 and 17 i would not spend that amount of money for a laptop. top spec mac pro 17 is over 2 grand. thats a ridiculus price.

Apple is very much focused on consumers and creative professionals. Dell has large enterprise servers and is moving towards integrative solutions services (Dell's "backbone"). I'm just frustrated because this laptop would be PERFECT for my needs if it had a SSD, Blu-ray, hot swappable battery. It is the first laptop that I know of that has ALL USB 3.0, bluetooth 3.0, DisplayPort, Backlit keyboard, WiDi, etc.
