Feb 7, 2009 - You're so right, I could've used that tool as well (and nowadays I do use both tools), but i usually like the patch tool more because especially in the start of my learning phase (including this video) I got some weird and unsmooth results when using that tool and well.. I think I just like the patch tool a bit more and in the end you can achieve the same with both tools, so its just a matter of skills and taste^^ Oh and I don't lose texture details when using the tool if you meant that.

Feb 7, 2009 - I'd suggest, instead of using only the patch tool on the skin in the beginning, use the healing brush tool. It can be easier to control than the patch tool, especially when you do large areas since it takes away all the detail from them. If you want to remove a couple of blemishes but the rest of the skin is alright, use the healing brush tool then fix up the skin with some gaussian blur or a bit more with the healing brush tool.

Oct 8, 2008 - Very good work! I scan a picture to my computer but when I print it back out it doesn't come out the EXACT same color as the original...I need it to be the E X A C T same color of the original picture that has been scanned...E X A C T! Could you please tell me what to do? Thanks.
