Apr 2, 2012 - actually the banner would make sense if u think about it. like everybody KNOWS that these photos were touched, but if it STANDS infront of you again, it'll help i think. I doubt that this will be implemented (at least in the near future) though.

Mar 28, 2012 - The celebrities I've seen in person looked pretty damn perfect. Retouching shouldn't even be done.

Mar 27, 2012 - I don't know why adds and photoshoped pictures are being so huge issue. Since I was kid, I've been taught in school about media education. Basicly it was people explaining you should think with ur brains, learn to criticize and value-for example ads- and use source criticism. It's funny that nowadays people worry so much about kids. Sad, that it looks like that my and the older generation have given birth to idiot children who can't think with their own brains.. T_T''

Mar 24, 2012 - I understand that this lady is trying to do something good by making that warning label. But she has lost touch with what it means to live in a free society. Don't get me wrong, I want to see real people and not digital. But in a free society we can not be passing laws like this. We need to just educate people properly, and I am all for overthrowing the media corporate giants that throw this stuff in girl's faces.

Mar 15, 2012 - How about we worry about all the fat people and their diet and less about the .0001% who are not eating because of photoshop!!!!!

krystal1410 Says:
Mar 6, 2012 - No, you can't ban Photoshop. That's so unrealistic, because photographers are artists and Photoshop is a tool used to create their artwork. Maybe instead of a "warning label", which may be seen as an insult to the models, the retouched photos could give credit to the photographer and present such photos as the creations they are. Photos could say "created by" or something like that. Besides, people need to support and help their friends, family and significant others who have poor self-esteem

Feb 26, 2012 - actually from a historic pov and a genetic pov it -does- make better men and it -does- benefit the genepool. You cannot go around claim you are an indiviual when you share a planet with 6 billion others, the pack will have expectations of you.
heirihunziker Says:
Feb 22, 2012 - i think they need to put a disclaimer on all newspapers and TV news when they're reporting political news, now THAT is distortion you need to be worried about.
kshelly17 Says:
Feb 18, 2012 - yes ban it
jamieblaise Says:
Feb 16, 2012 - I think that you're overlooking all the other things that are reinforced in boys. Get a job, support your lazy wife, work until you die, masculinity, hide your tears, be tough and protect everyone, etc. Does this make our men better? The answer is in setting your own expectations, not allowing society to tell us how to live our lives.
jamieblaise Says:
Feb 16, 2012 - Exactly! It's on the individual to take responsibility for their own choices, not to start blaming others. If someone wants to get pretty by lowering everyone else's standards then they are going to be waiting a long time, lol...They might as well start working on themselves while they're waiting...
jamieblaise Says:
Feb 16, 2012 - I would like to see one naturally beautiful woman try to claim that there is something wrong with photoshopping a picture. Let's be realistic, almost every woman wears make up, and you don't force women to wear a sign that says, "Hey guys, I'm really ugly as sh!*" Beautiful people are beautiful because they are uncommon, common people look common because they are common! Ask any man or woman what the most attractive feature is in their eyes... Confidence! You can't photoshop that!

Feb 4, 2012 - Ban a tool? beat it with that crazy idea... There are plenty of hot girls in this world (the host of this video included) that look very good without "editing". If your unhappy with the way you are, get your ass in the gym. Stop pointing fingers, planet fitness memberships are hella cheap!
ThatsBullSchitt Says:
Jan 31, 2012 - Its the girls fault for choosing not to eat. Not the edited photos. Thats like saying naturally skinny girls cause eating disorders in bigger women.. no, THEY themselves cause the problem
ThatsBullSchitt Says:
Jan 31, 2012 - Shes hot before editing!
ManuelitaCardona Says:
Jan 26, 2012 - she still looks good without photoshop!
