Apr 24, 2012 - Hey Jouvernile, just because its a video camera doesn't mean that the camera was supported at the time the version of Premiere Pro was released. What version do you have? It could have something to do with the audio being part of an MPEG-3 format and not PCM too. Look up the camera model in a google search, try out creativecow - great forums there likely with someone else who has had your experience! - Cheers JB

Feb 11, 2012 - You would probably need to convert (export) your footage to MPEG-2 for decent editing on CS3 with that footage. You can download CS5.5 for fully functional 30 Day Trial... but you need to be sure your computer meets the CS5.5 specifications. JB

Dec 28, 2011 - Yes. These effects are in the Effects Panel and you can drag and drop them on to clips in the timeline. Then you can alter the properties of the effects in the Effect Controls Panel, usually next to the Source Panel. :) - JB

Dec 5, 2011 - In out Out points on the timeline aren't to set export range like with FCP. You would need to set the WorkArea bar for the export range. It's the thick area above the timeline numbers, you can drag the start and end ranges to snap to the edits/cuts you have made, then export. :) - JB

Dec 5, 2011 - I just exported a 30 min music clip that I am trying to export as 7 separate music tracks. I have the full clip in the sequence and have used the razor tool to cut the tracks the way I want them. I I tried making an in and out point on one piece and tried to export and all i keep getting is the whole 30 min track. Do you know how to do this?....I have done it with Final cut pro for the mac dozens of times this way but don't sadly don't have that program anymore. any help would be appreciated.

Nov 17, 2011 - Do you have a video tutoring how to insert sound into the timeline. I've tried to import it and then drag it to timeline, it doesn't work. It can't be dragged.
aJBprods Says:
Oct 24, 2011 - how are you trying to add the clips? Drag n Drop? Or with the insert overlay shortcut buttons? which means you need the tracks active (light grey) and that means you click on them to activate and deactivate them. - JB
