He had little love for Welsh speakers either, were called self obssessed and blind. I don't have much love for him either ; ) Anyone who carves 'For real' on his shoulders makes me think he was narcassistic with serious mental health issues. Not someone whom I admire at all. As you can see, I am not a Manic Street Preachers fan ; )

May 11, 2012 - maybe it was bullying......but he cant of hated wales because of its state...as there was no voice for the welsh, we are ruled by london since invasion.....some welsh are quite self loathing.....a reason my family didnt teach me the native british language of welsh :(

Apr 29, 2012 - Notice that I said he was from Wales and not Welsh! Richie Edwards didn't have much love for his country of birth anyway. He hated a lot of things about Wales. It wasn't until he disappeared that the band embraced their background much more.
