May 6, 2012 - Oh, it didn't work. I get the pieces cut out and moved into the new picture but when i do the color balance it adjusts the whole picture instead of just that layer, even though I do have the Color Balance mask clicked on.

Apr 30, 2012 - Try this: select the layer you want to move to another image (make sure that image is already open in Photoshop), then right-click it and go to "Duplicate Layer..." Then click the drop-down menu next to "Document" and select the one that has the same name as the picture you opened. Then hit OK and there you go! =) -B
