May 6, 2012 - dAMN DAVE, I've got to give it to you. I've enjoyed your videos for the last several months here, all the great reviews advice and humor seems to have made me a regular viewer. But what struck me so about this video was that you put into words what I've always believed. I had the same 200:1 board! I took apart my toys never could get enough. Electronics never sunk in like the mechanics. I'm a professional machinist and can build anything. I just bought my first digital o scope last week cheers!

Apr 19, 2012 - Yeah, the internet really changed everything. Knowledge was so hard to come by back then and parts were impossible. Anyone remember the "Anarchists cookbook" You'll know that if you hardware hack and are in your late 20's..... first thing I downloaded from AOL in 1997! After joe Guest Nude ofc.

Apr 9, 2012 - This past weekend I made a quick dash into my local thrift store/AMVETS. Disappointed I found nothing. I began walking out the door and what do I see on the shelf behind the cashiers. A faded worn-out box that reads 300-1 RadioShack Electronic lab; YES! Old but complete $7 out the door. It was kinda funny because I saw this video recently. I was so happy; my friends were like whatever! I'm like you don't understand how cool this.....never mind! Money well spent and I'm having fun. Thanks Dave =)

Apr 6, 2012 - I grew up in the same era. 150-in-One kit. Pulled apart every electrical/electronic product in the house. Patrolled the streets on the lookout for junked TVs, radios, etc. for parts. A school buddy and I did way too many experiments with car batteries and HV...amazing I wasn't maimed or killed with all the stupid stuff we did. We were charmed, I guess. You have to watch kids who get into this...a little learning can be a dangerous thing!

Apr 3, 2012 - Dude, you'd crap your pants at EveryCircuit for androids and ipads lol, Should totally play with those some time!
syonastarlight Says:
Apr 3, 2012 - Creepy, you just described my own childhood almost exactly, instead of a multimeter I bought my first soldering iron with my allowance, as well as starting a junkbox full of crap I've taken apart.

Apr 1, 2012 - You make me wish I got more serious about electronics at that age. I didn't start until 20 when I went to trade school at night.

Apr 1, 2012 - Every time I get some electronics from eBay in the mail, my mom is like "Oh, you got more **** from China," and "You're not making a bomb are you?"

Mar 31, 2012 - The 100 in one project board I mean lol! Back in the 80's.....

Mar 31, 2012 - Ha I had one exactly like that! Truly amazing! I think my one was from a store called Tandy in the UK! Wicked!

Mar 29, 2012 - Thanks for that video - My greatest birthday present was a Radio Shack x-in-one electronics experimentation kit too, but what I liked about your video is how you addressed BEING ALONE in such an interest - that was my biggest hurdle to overcome (a good ten years' worth!) until now when I just thought "To heck with it, I'm gonna do electronics"... So yeah, I'm still at the breadboard stage, but as you say, today's better for it than back then :)

Mar 20, 2012 - I got started back in the 1960's. Tube tv's were much easier to work on, you often could change a tube and fix them. I remember helping my dad we would pull the tubes out and take them to the corner drug and test them. then we would buy a couple new tubes and like magic our old RCA tv would come back to life.

Mar 18, 2012 - Haha, I was terrible for taking things apart as a child, someone bought me a little electronics kit for kids but it wasn't as interesting as taking things apart so didn't really help :p
