May 23, 2012 - you need to vocalize everything you do. for example, when you fix the first shape, you apparently switch to transform pen tool, right? at least thats the only way i could do what you did. but it took a while to figure it out

May 23, 2012 - This is a really good tut. Many, many, (MANY!) tuts on youtube suck ... for various reasons, but this one is quite nice. Thanks much for making this.

May 17, 2012 - Hey, I just found your channel, you have some really great stuff! Of course, I subscribed! I have a general question: How do you get your projects (or paths?) in the top as little tabs?

May 14, 2012 - First off you're better off making line art in Illustrator. I just find it more useful for line art because it's easier to use the pen tool and you keep the quality of it the same no matter how much you re scale it because of it using vectors rather than pixels. To solve your problem just make sure that you're not using any fill color, should be a button somewhere that gets rid of fill/stroke color but that's easier to manage in Illustrator

May 4, 2012 - can u tell me how to fix this? im trying to do line art by tracing my pencil drawing with the pen tool, i see ppl do it all the time to make clean lines. but for some reason, when im using the pen tool this happens. i creat a line across the are im trying to replicate, and then switch to add anchor so i can match the shape, but when i start to add anchors it colors in all the area between the line with black, making a half circle of black, how do i fix this?

May 4, 2012 - very nice tutorial ,thanks : )

w1mm13 Says:

May 2, 2012 - In your pentool rightclick on your image and then fill with selected colour or click selection so it will make a selection of your path then goto your fill tool (bucket) choose the colour you want and fill the selected area. ctrl D to deselect or command D Hope i was helpfull (trying to learn PS as well)

w1mm13 Says:

May 2, 2012 - Very helpfull. Was missing the point that if you want to make a sharp corner or straight line after a bend alt click on the anchorpoint so one handle disapear. Because the path want to keep on going with the same bend (before the anchorpoint)

badmonkey91 Says:

May 1, 2012 - say actually more, I don't think you came off quite contentious enough in this recording.

ChChCheckItsClan Says:

May 1, 2012 - If you still have your pen tool selected, just hold down the Ctrl key (PC) or Cmd key (Mac) and click on the circle again =) -B

bitbybug Says:

Apr 30, 2012 - After you completed the first "semi-circle" shape, and all the anchors and handles disappeared, how did you get the anchor point and handles at the top of the curve back again?
