May 23, 2012 - I really like RSAnimate, but I always find myself pausing every couple of seconds to read all the text. It would be handy to either not write as much, or pause so that the viewer can read what is being clarified/realised/contextualized.

May 18, 2012 - I find it sad that you would chastise Iain for sharing his logical thoughts but nothing is said about mainstream sellouts who produce dumbed down crap. That video is not a forum to prove anything - it is there to inspire the scientific community to look into this more. This is just not Iain's point of view - I myself, feel that creative & philosophical thoughts are being weighed less and less in society as a whole, against the tangible but hollow materialism.

May 14, 2012 - By saying that rationality is grounded by intuition he is not saying that they are the same thing. He is simply saying that one cannot be sustained without the other.

May 14, 2012 - Try reading The Master and His Emissary. More than 2,500 pieces of research referred to, and a very cogent argument
MARSBOR33 Says:
May 14, 2012 - I like his intuition, but I would also like to see research that proves his theories. As a psychiatrist he should be aware of the social implications of his messages and I believe he should not refer to his own experiences as a psychiatrist as general fact without scientific research to prove these experiences are fact.

May 13, 2012 - This guy said that rationality is grounded by intuition....... so by that logic, Einstein was saying the the sacred gift and the faithful servant were the same thing.

Apr 27, 2012 - This, so far, is the most balanced and well-argued video of all the RSA videos. In quite a few of them, despite making excellent points or delivering a potent and powerful message, the speaker would have a tendency to make misleading/false over-generalizations. Of course, they all accomplish the goal of provoking and encouraging critical thinking, but this particular video fills my scientific satisfaction with BALANCED arguments/statements.

Apr 27, 2012 - Nice talk but I can't say I like the sound effects. They take away the power of the words.
