Jan 7, 2012 - I assume the point of this is more to learn how to string a sentence together and learning the relevant nouns / colour names than to get the 'right' answer, as in many cases you can't know in advance what the chosen colour will be. The great thing about this game is that it can then be extended into real life, by pointing to objects in the environment and asking what colour they are.

Feb 14, 2011 - "The orange is orange" sounds ridiculous. But for those who only start to learn English it sounds also paradoxical in a way and is a good example of how the same word in English can have an adjectival meaning and a noun meaning at the same time.
