The final 3 70s albums had great material, and 3 fab leads on the last 2. I'm trying to come up with hundreds of great girl groups after Jean but failing. Adore the Emotions, Three Degrees, Pointers, Sister Sledge, but most other groups could not hold a candle vocally, even Destinys Child had appallingly bad diction on faster numbers.

The only similarities were that the Supremes still had the same backing singers, and they had the same "Supremes" moniker. Otherwise the music was completely different. Jean was great, but after she left the "Supremes" could have been any one of the hundreds of girl groups that were going around, except most of the others were greater!

May 6, 2012 - How stupid can a person get mistermarkification? Diana overflowed with talent and didn't need to sleep with anyone to "get ahead" as you imply. How many of her records etc did anyone ever buy just bc she slept with her boss? Talent and a strong work ethic got Diana to the top and left the others standing. If sleeping around with top men got anyone to the top, then mary would have ruled the universe by now. If those top comments "pain" you, then simply don't read them. It's quite simple really!
