May 22, 2012 - Thanks captain obvious.

AyKay47 Says:

May 17, 2012 - lol funny, there is a really simple way to do this illusion, but that's not the point. The point is to give the illusion that he can manipulate the shadow of the flowers and vase, so that it will effect the actual flowers and vase, just by somehow touching and working with the shadow of it.

FatherTime89 Says:

May 16, 2012 - Well I did see Tupac put the vase there.

RYDERkN Says:

May 14, 2012 - I think the "real" flower is a hologram

Angelheartdm Says:

May 11, 2012 - I don't see why some of you people can't just appreciate the experience and leave it at that. You have to go and try to ruin it for others by throwing theories around about how the illusion was carried out. It was a mysterious and beautiful performance, and that's that.

mayamodraf Says:

May 3, 2012 - there are many ways to do that, melting, magnets, even strings. you are an idiot.

chaosbalrog Says:

May 2, 2012 - "or some other sort of gimmick" so you mean its not real magic wow thanks for narrowing that down

mayamodraf Says:

Apr 30, 2012 - i said there are many methods you COULD use. The one used by Dutch magician, who is sued by hypocrites Penn and Teller (Teller has 0 chance to win, because he is just a patent troll, you cannot patent ideas and certainly not a magic trick, he tried to do that with "pantomime" but will fail miserably at court), involves artificial rose, probably with magnets or some other sort of gimmick.

mayamodraf Says:

Apr 30, 2012 - No, he owns a patent on a pantomime, whatever that means, not on the method. You cannot patent IDEAS, and certainly not a magic trick. He will lose the case in court, he just tries to intimidate the magician to stop using his trick, but he cannot. The level of hypocrisy is appaling.

recnepsrd Says:

Apr 30, 2012 - Teller actually does own the patent on the method that he uses.

recnepsrd Says:

Apr 30, 2012 - He actually owns the patent on the particular method that he uses, so he can take you to court if you reveal exactly how he does it.

TheDeathofGrace Says:

Apr 29, 2012 - i dont see how this could have anything to do with depth of vision. It is performed infront of a whole audience.

TheDeathofGrace Says:

Apr 29, 2012 - you have no idea how it was done because it can be done many ways. just like penn said.

TheDeathofGrace Says:

Apr 29, 2012 - i just love how americans are so fucking dumb that they laugh at what is so obviously meant to be a dramatic piece.

TheDeathofGrace Says:

Apr 29, 2012 - i would kinda disagree. that would mean on some nights flowers are falling all over without him cutting. hed look retarded.

TheDeathofGrace Says:

Apr 29, 2012 - lol rich bastard goes and sees penn and teller a dozen times.

TheDeathofGrace Says:

Apr 29, 2012 - hmmm interesting i agree with you but i dont know what that means for the trick.

jaie888 Says:

Apr 29, 2012 - whos effect is it? its penn and tellers. They have a irght to sue a person over somthing thats theres and then some guy comes along and copys the trick i dont understand what u mean by saying there hipocrites its there trick they have a right to it and if they dont want it shared then they wont have it shared im also intrested how you found this out.

underoath55000 Says:

Apr 29, 2012 - @mayamodraf but wouldn't you be able to see the string's shadow?

mayamodraf Says:

Apr 27, 2012 - The assholes Penn and Teller sued a magician for PERFOMING this stupid trick, whilst at the same time exposing tricks of countless other competitors. What a bunch of hypocrites. The trick is rather obvious, yet it has a kind of internal beauty. The rose is pre-cut, and manipulated in ways other than knife to fall in time (many ways to do this - from melting to strings), and the knife just follows the rose. Cannot patent that, assholes. Eat your own bullshit.

MusicalAndTall Says:

Apr 25, 2012 - My grammar was fine, dip-shit. "You retard" is fine to say, as it is also fine to say "You fool". Fail on your behalf. Go and pull yourself a tad more.

umkemesic Says:

Apr 24, 2012 - I would have a mechinism (string, glass maybe) that would be activated with the movement of the nife acrosss the canvas. Just a thought.

sandrofurlotti Says:

Apr 23, 2012 - Teller as a teenager looks exactly like Teller now with a large wig

rich1051414 Says:

Apr 23, 2012 - No penn and teller never revealed a magic trick created by a magician, but rather revealed over done magic tricks that tons of half rate magicians performed exactly the same so often that it takes the mystique and amazement out of the craft, and then they usually performed there own version completely different. All they are doing is encouraging creativity in the craft and are against stagnation and corney magic. Revealing public domain magic is different than personal creations.
