Apr 23, 2012 - I have been working on a project using Creative Commons clips using youtube's Video editor. I returned to continue working on my project and found a red banner emblazoned across the top of my editor page informing me: "Video is not usable. Please select another one." It is not funtional at all. No other explanation. ???????? Will this happen every time I use this product half way through every project??? What gives???

Apr 19, 2012 - I thought I had taken this down. The video is out of date and needs to be redone. Anyway to answer your question you need to put two copies of your video in the task bar. First video is trimmed to show the first half you want. The second video is trimmed to show the second half.  By doing this you cut out the middle part you want removed.

Apr 19, 2012 - One quick question: I'm trying to trim about three minutes out of the middle of an hour long video. Grabbing the handles and trying to trim beyond the edge of the screen isn't working so well. The handle gets jammed up and only moves over very very slowly. Is there some better way to cut up an hour long video? Thanks! Your video was otherwise very clear and helpful!

Mar 15, 2012 - I made a video on another account uploaded from a phone and then I edited it and I ended up with an edited version and the original unedited one. So I deleted the original one so I can just have 1 version of the video which is edited. when I search for my video they both still come up in the search, and when i click on the the edited one it works how it should. but when i click on the original deleted one the video comes up saying "video removed by user" what can I do to prevent this ?
