When compared to Canva, Switchboard has a number of advantages. It does not require much time to get started, has a large library and gives you the opportunity to make your own graphics. However, I find it much more complicated than Canva. Moreover, it is not necessary that you create templates only. Therefore, if you want new graphics or pictures every day and you like challenges – this is the best choice for you!
Initially I thought there was nothing comparable but it turns out that any tool holds its own value. If you use Canva to create memes and infographics then it’s unlikely that you’ll find the same features on other free tools. However, the design templates from Visme, Piktochart and Venngage do provide a more diverse range of themes. With so many different infographic templates to choose from, one can always try out multiple applications before venturing down the same path as Canva. Ultimately, we have seen that all of these tools are great alternatives but each caters to a different audience. I’m sure most of them will have no problems as they look promising.
Stencil is one of the best alternatives to Canva that we have seen so far. Its interface is very similar, which makes it easy to experience. Other than that, you can use this software without any extra skills needed, or you can get ahold of a customized template. You don’t need any technical knowledge, but you’ll still be able to do amazing designs.
Picmonkey is a powerful tool for graphic design and photo editing. It has a huge library of templates and graphics and offers lots of features. Canva, on the other hand, provides easy-to-create designs for social media, marketing and personal needs. With it, you can add Instagram images, professional logo creation etc.
While Canva can meet the basic needs of a designer, Adobe Creative Cloud has a better range of tools and more advanced options.
There are plenty Canva alternatives out there, and the trick is to choose one that suits your needs. I hope this has helped you discover the perfect canva alternative for you. If you ever have any additional questions, feel free to ask!
